Instructions for Collection and Transport
A quantitative urine protein is automatically ordered with this test.
Internal samples: Indicate exact collection time on label. Submit entire urine collection and refrigerate.
Satellite and Community Hospitals: Aliquot urine into plastic aliquot bottle and false bottom aliquot for total protein analysis. Transport refrigerated on freeze packs. Refrigerate if holding overnight.
