Instructions for Collection and Transport
A random urine specimen is preferred, but a 24 hour urine specimen is acceptable. Wait one week after dyes. Do not collect during menstrual cycle. Do not collect in acid. Indicate exact collection time on label. Transport refrigerated on freeze packs. Refrigerate if holding overnight.
