Instructions for Collection and Transport
A quantitative urine protein will be automatically ordered with this test.
Random urine collections are not acceptable.
Internal samples: Indicate exact collection time on label. Submit entire urine collection.
Remote Locations: Measure timed urine and record volume and collection time on label. Aliquot urine into brown plastic aliquot bottle and false bottom aliquot tube for total protein analysis. Minimum volume is 12 mL. Transport refrigerated on freeze packs. Refrigerate if holding overnight.
