Instructions for Collection and Transport
The timed urine collection can also be collected with 6N HCL preservative. A plasma/serum (Green Lithium Heparin or Gold with Gel) creatinine must be drawn within 72 hours of urine collection.
Transport instructions: Measure timed urine and record volume and collection time on label. Aliquot urine into false bottom tube. Centrifuge blood specimen. Transport both urine and blood refrigerated on freeze packs. Refrigerate if holding overnight.

CSR Storage Requirements
