Instructions for Collection and Transport
Internal samples: Indicate exact collection time. Submit entire urine collection.
Remote locations: Measure timed urine and record volume and collection time on label. Aliquot urine into false bottom tube. Sample must remain cold at all times. Transport refrigerated on freeze packs. Refrigerate if holding overnight.
Home Health Agencies: Transport to laboratory within 2 hours of pickup from patient.
