Instructions for Collection and Transport
Specimen is stable for 8 hours room temperature and 24 hours at 2-8° Centrifuge specimen. Transport refrigerated on freeze packs. If holding overnight, aliquot plasma into plastic vial. Transport refrigerated on ice packs.
Home Health Agencies: Transport to laboratory within 2 hours of collection keeping specimen cool.
