Instructions for Collection and Transport
Place specimen in clinical lab specimen transport container at refrigerated temperature. Separate specimens must be submitted for Flow Cytometry and should be placed in clinical lab transport to CSR. Specimens collected Friday must be sent on Friday by regular courier or STAT courier and will be processed on Saturday. Samples must arrive Friday to be processed on Saturday. Specimens collected Saturday will be processed on Monday unless approval is obtained by hematopathologist on call for Saturday processing.
