Instructions for Collection and Transport
Draw blood in a red-top tube or dark green Lithium Heparin (Gel tubes will be rejected). Centrifuge specimen. Aliquot serum or plasma into plastic vial. Refrigerate serum or plasma and transport on ice packs if sending from an outside location.
