Instructions for Collection and Transport
This code, CORT (LAB61), Cortisol-Random is the one to order and accession for baseline and post specimens used in stimulation and suppression tests. The samples and labels must be clearly labeled with time of collection and the category of specimen – i.e. 30 minutes post ACTH . Centrifuge specimen. Aliquot serum into plastic vial. Transport refrigerated on freeze packs.
