Epic Description: PLATELET AGGREGATION
Collection Limitations
Tuesday and Thursday between 8-10am. MUST BE SCHEDULED WITH THE LAB 842-5378 (x25378). Specimen must arrive in Hematology Laboratory within 1 hour of collection.

Instructions for Collection and Transport
Specimen testing performed at Main Campus lab only. Specimen must be transported at room temperature. Must be scheduled with main campus Hematology Lab. 842-5378 (x25378) Do not transport in pneumatic tube system. Hand deliver to laboratory. Do not centrifuge.

Patient Preparation
No asprin or medication containing aspirin for 2 weeks prior to test. Fasting prior to test required. Refrain from smoking.
