Instructions for Collection and Transport

Do not centrifuge. Transport at ROOM TEMPERATURE the same day of collection. Room Temperature is critical. If platelet count is less than 20,000/ccm, submit 7-10 mL whole blood. The specimen is stable at room temperature for 6 days.
