Collection Limitations
COLLECT BETWEEN 7 AM AND 12 NOON, MONDAY-THURSDAY AT JEFF HWY and LSU Shreverport Locations ONLY. Specimens must be sent to reference lab on the day of collection.

Specimen Stability
48hrs at room temperature
Instructions for Collection and Transport
A separate tube must be drawn from an unrelated person at the same time the patient is collected. Label this tube clearly as Normal Control . Do not centrifuge.
Forward both patient and control tubes promptly at room temperature.
