Instructions for Collection and Transport
Centrifuge specimen. Separate serum/plasma from cells within two hours of collection and transfer to a tightly capped tube to minimize alcohol loss. Transport on freeze packs. Refrigerate if holding overnight. Home Health Agencies: Not available for collection by Home Health.
