Instructions for Collection and Transport
Crush ampule in culturette to moisten swab. Microbiology prefers to make smear.
Internal specimens should be transported to laboratory within one hour of collection.
Remote Locations: Transport refrigerated on freeze packs. Refrigerate if holding overnight.
