Instructions for Collection and Transport
Collect in Viral Transport Media or eSwab using provided swab. Samples may be stored at room temperature (up to 30° C) for 48 hours. Refrigerate upon receipt. Samples may be store at 2 to 8° C or -20° C for up to 7 days before processing.
Process suspected Monkey Pox HSV swabs in BSL2 with BSL3 procautions. Use Face shields, face masks and gloves all under the BSL2 hood.
