Instructions for Collection and Transport
Lab prefers to make smears. If smear is already made, place in sterile container. Collect using E-swab according to package instructions.
Internal specimens should be transported to laboratory within one hour of collection.
Remote Locations: Transport specimens refrigerated on freeze packs or at room temperature.
