Instructions for Collection and Transport
Transport whole blood refrigerated on freeze packs. Refrigerate if holding overnight.
Testing times: For hospital inpatients, testing will be performed Sunday – Saturday. Sample must be received in the laboratory by 10am for SAME DAY RESULT . Outpatient testing will be performed Monday – Friday day shift. NOTE: This test cannot be Ordered STAT.
