Instructions for Collection and Transport
Centrifuge specimen. Aliquot plasma into plastic vial. Freeze immediately. Transport frozen on dry ice. Freeze if holding overnight.

Patient Preparation
Patient should be fasting 10-12 hours prior to collection.
Patient should not be on any medications that affect hypertension,
gastrointestinal functions, or pain relievers, if possible, for at
least 48 hours prior to collection of specimen.
