Instructions for Collection and Transport
Collect maternal specimen no earlier than 1 hour post-delivery, but as soon as possible thereafter. Do not centrifuge. Transport at room temperature. Refrigerate if holding overnight.
Tubes must be labeled with the following information:
1. Patient’s complete name
2. Clinic Number
3. Location
4. Date of Collection
5. Collector’s I.D.
