Specimen Stability
Stable in original packaging ambient temperature up to 2 hours. Refrigerate if testing is longer than 2 hours. Must be tested within 24 hours of collection. Cannot be stored overnight
Instructions for Collection and Transport
Collect Nasal swab by rotating the swab several times against the nasal wall then slowly remove from the nostril.
Internal specimens should be transported to laboratory within two hour of collection.
OC Remote Locations: Transport refrigerated on freeze packs. Refrigerate if holding overnight.
