Instructions for Collection and Transport
Centrifuge specimen. Aliquot serum or plasma into screw-capped plastic tube. Make note if sending serum or plasma. Refrigerate specimen. Transport refrigerated on freeze packs.
Rejection Criteria: Cannot be collected in a gel tube (Gold); Grossly hemolyzed specimens; specimens stored at room temperature.
