Instructions for Collection and Transport
Centrifuge specimen. Aliquot plasma into plastic vial. Please submit a dedicated sample for this test. Freeze specimen within 2 hours. Transport frozen on dry ice.
Shreveport/Monroe - Draw blood in three lavender tubes. Spin and separate within 24 hours of collection. Separated plasma can be stored at 2°C to 8°C for 7 days or -20°C to -80°C for 6 weeks.
