Instructions for Collection and Transport

E-swab-after swab sample is taken, the swab applicator shaft is broken off at the colored breakpoint indication line by bending the shaft on the side of  the tube allowing the swab to fall into the E-swab transport tube. Discard the handle of the swab. Replace tube's screw cap into a funnel-shaped molded docking receptacle in cap. 

For culturette: Crush ampule in culturette to moisten swab. 

Remote Locations: Transport culurette or Eswab vial refrigerated on freeze packs.
