Instructions for Collection and Transport

This test CANNOT be ordered for Kenner River Parishes Facility.

Immediately after collection, place tubes in warm water until serum is spun and separated from cells.

Instructions for Ochsner LSU Shreveport: Immediately after collection, wrap tubes in a heel warmer and deliver to lab.

 

 

Aliquot serum into plastic vial. Refrigerate sample – DO NOT FREEZE. Transport refrigerated on ice packs. This test cannot be added on to any previously collected blood sample.
