Specimen Stability
Specimen is stable 24 hours; however specimens should be brought to the lab immediately since specimen degredation begins within one hour at room temperature.
Instructions for Collection and Transport
Do not send to lab in syringe. Do not centrifuge. Transport to lab within 1 hour of collection. Remote locations, transport refrigerated on freeze packs.
