Instructions for Collection and Transport
E-swab: After swab sample is taken, the swab applicator shaft is broken off at the colored breakpoint indication line by bending the shaft on the side of the tube and allowing the swab to fall into E-swab transport tube. Discard the handle of the swab. Replace tube's screw cap into a funnel shaped molded docking receptacle in cap.
Remote Locations: Transport specimen at room temperature. If specimen has been plated, transport plate in sealed plastic bag at room temperature. Keep at room temperature if holding overnight.
