Instructions for Collection and Transport
This test is only valid for Peritoneal, Pleural, or JP drainage sources only.
Do not send fluid in bag or syringe for this test. Indicate fluid type/source. Centrifuge and transfer supernate to a clean tube. Cap securely and transport on freeze pack. Refrigerate if holding overnight.
