This test is only valid for Peritoneal, Pleural, or JP drainage sources only.
Do not send fluid in bag or syringe for this test. Indicate fluid type/source. If urine, see Amylase, Urine.
Remote Locations: Centrifuge and transfer supernatant to a clean vial. Cap securely and transport on freeze pack. Refrigerate if holding overnight.
