Preferred	Lavender, EDTA – Pre-chilled tube and place immediately on ice	4.0 mL	1.5 mL

Deliver to the lab immediately. Centrifuge specimen. Aliquot plasma into plastic vials. Freeze immediately. Transport frozen on dry ice.

Home Health Agencies: Deliver to laboratory immediately, not to exceed 1 hour. Keep specimen cool.
