SCOV2 is performed on a 24-36hr platform routed by Epic according to ordering locatons.

CVCPH is performed on a 1 hr platform routed by Epic according to ordering locations.

NOTE: Specimens will be rejected if received with more than ONE swab in the VTM media; alternative testing is via La. Dept of Health.

Specimens must be submitted in VTM or UTM transport media. All are stable refrigerated for up to 3 days (72 hours) (2 - 8°C).
